That was a time when she was in a desperate need for help.
Serious health problems required Svitlana to stop working as a nurse, and it felt like a big part of her heart was gone forever.

“Who am I now? What is the purpose of my life?"- was the cry of the her soul.
She stated to seek answers on those questions in prayers, as she is a believer and a follower of Jesus Christ.

True desire of her heart to live a purposeful life was answered in a couple of weeks, when during a prayer she was reminded about her family and love toward the art.
It was the Light in the darkness! It was the New Beginning!
Life again started to have a purpose. Knowing that art speaks to the hearts of people, she could continue to help them by bringing love, joy, and hope through the work of her hands.
She realized that all decades working as a nurse were times of preparation for the bigger mission.
That mission is to bring healing to the brokenhearted, to give a “medicine’ of art to those who are in need of it. It is the “medical field”, but in another dimension.
One of her first works by the name “Soul” was published in the Johns Hopkins Medicine Art Magazine “Meraki” in 2021, and later in Canadian International Contemporary Art Magazine "Artistonish" in March, 2024(issue #44)
